Temple Terrace Hickory Heritage Weekend February 21st thru 23rd!
It’s the countdown to the biggest hickory event in Florida. The Temple Terrace Hickory Heritage Weekend! This is already one of the most anticipated affairs in the Southeast, attracting hickory players from all over the world, and hitting all the vintage cylinders with two popular tournaments: the Hickory Hackers amateur tourney and the U.S. Professional Hickory Golf Championship.
But this year it gets even better. A third tournament makes its debut.
The Mike Stevens Hickory Golf Challenge follows Sunday Brunch on the 22nd. Emulating Ryder Cup team-style play, this promises to be very popular. The first sixteen players to register at 11:00 a.m. will form the teams, so grab your mimosas and get thee to the signing table quick!
And what would the Hickory Heritage Weekend be without the Knickers Bash, also known as the Gatsby Ball? This Prohibition Era themed costume ball gets bigger and better every year. Though not required, dress that reflects the Roaring Twenties is encouraged. So, by sundown Saturday the 21st, grab a vintage-style dinner jacket and some flapper fringe because the Temple Terrace club house becomes a time machine, sending golfers and their guests back to the days of G-men, dolls, gangsters and molls.
Save those dates! You won’t want to miss a minute of this terrific 3 day event! For registration information online, go HERE or call 813.732.6941. You can also download the entry form by going HERE. And for more information on the Temple Terrace Golf and Country Club, go HERE.
